We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, entrepreneurial Brand Manager based in Poland to be part of Opontia’s Brand Management team. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who will be a key part of the Opontia growth team and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of fast-growing eCommerce brands across multiple channels and markets
P&L Ownership: Set and measure performance against brand-level sales and margin targets and provide regular monitoring of brand financials
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive sales, reduce costs and drive conversion rate by brand, focused around product portfolio management, inventory management, price and listing optimization, markdowns, promotions & deals, PPC, other marketing tactics, channel expansion, customer management and more
Brand Integration & Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with internal teams and sellers to carry out due diligence, understand core competencies of newly acquired brands, lead and facilitate the transition effort, and develop a go-to-market strategy, including impactful product launches and international expansion
Vendor Management: Partner with sourcing team in managing brand-level vendors, including identifying and selecting vendors, developing relationships, managing costs, minimum order quantities and lead times, defining KPIs, and monitoring performance
Inventory Management: Coordinate with our planning, sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure products are always in stock with optimal coverage by channel, are high quality, have updated packaging, and have all appropriate required certifications
Compliance Management: Partner with legal team to mitigate any compliance risks and in the event of intellectual property or other legal issues
Customer Management: Coordinate with our customer service team to ensure we are providing a world class customer experience for your brand portfolio
5+ years of experience in brand management, preferably at a startup, e-commerce company or other fast-paced environment.
2+ years of e-commerce experience
Experience in taking a consumer product from concept to reality – product conception and ideation, sourcing, prototype approval, cost negotiation, branding, order placement. Experience in introducing products to offline channels would be nice to have.
Fluency in English and Polish
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
A highly entrepreneurial and analytical self-starter who can manage multiple projects
Sound time-management and organizational skills; Excellent communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to make quick judgement calls under pressure
